Terms and Conditions

General terms for CopyrightChain, its digital-certification platform, public verification and related modules.

1. Service operator

Associazione fra le Banche Offshore in Italia
Italian Tax Code: 92034960457
Fiscal domicile: Viale Galilei 133, 54033 Carrara (MS), Italy
Operational office: Corso Venezia 1, 20121 Milan, Italy
Email: info@copyrightchain.it

CopyrightChain is the project and platform name and is not a separate legal entity. The operator is not a bank and does not provide banking, financial or investment services.

2. Scope

The service documents files and digital content through SHA-256 hashes, identifiers, PDF certificates, QR codes, public verification and, where purchased, Bitcoin/OpenTimestamps references, timestamping or other integrated services.

3. Copyright and limits of certification

Copyright arises when a work is created under applicable law. CopyrightChain does not create or transfer rights and is not a public copyright registration. Certification documents a specific file version, its integrity and its existence at a stated time.

The service does not replace trademark, patent, design or model registration, official deposits or other formal steps that may be required.

4. Accounts and user content

Users are responsible for data accuracy, credential security, content legality and having the ownership or authorization required to upload it. Illegal, fraudulent or rights-infringing use is prohibited.

5. Technical nature of evidence

Hashes, certificates, timestamps and public references are technical and documentary elements. Their relevance in a contract, complaint, proceeding or dispute depends on the specific case, the full evidence set and the assessment of a qualified professional or competent authority.

6. Third-party services and infrastructure

Some functions use external providers, APIs, protocols or networks, including InfoCert, Stripe, Openapi, postal services, Bitcoin and OpenTimestamps. Availability, timing, status and technical conditions may depend on those services. Reference to their marks does not imply partnership, endorsement or sponsorship unless expressly stated.

7. AI modules, Legal Vault and Legal Defense Center

AI and document modules provide general information, material organization and customizable drafts. They do not provide legal representation or professional legal advice and do not replace a lawyer or another licensed professional. Before sending notices, claims or documents with legal effects, users must review them and seek professional advice where appropriate.

8. Credits, prices and payments

Access may use credits, packages or subscriptions. Consumption depends on the selected level. Provider live costs, document-delivery services and external services may be separate from certification credits. Applicable prices and conditions are displayed before purchase.

9. Public verification and confidentiality

Public verification exposes the references required to check a certificate. The original file is not automatically published. Users should not enter unnecessary confidential information in public fields.

10. Availability and updates

The operator applies reasonable continuity and security measures, but maintenance, external failures, updates and provider outages may temporarily affect functions.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator does not guarantee the outcome of disputes, registrations, proceedings, web monitoring or communications generated through the tools. Mandatory liability and consumer rights remain unaffected.

12. Governing law, complaints and contact

These terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory protections applicable to the user. For support, complaints or notices: info@copyrightchain.it.
